August 18, 2014 – Starshot is pleased to announce the recent hire of Glenn Young as Senior Vice President, Sport and Lifestyle. Glenn is a 20 year industry veteran in sports and entertainment marketing and will oversee the development of Starshot’s sports and lifestyle marketing practice.
“Glenn’s background is a natural fit to our agency given his extensive experience with developing sports and lifestyle marketing programs, especially in the areas of sponsorship,” said Brad Dalgarno, Managing Partner of Starshot.
Glenn comes to Starshot from a number of senior sports marketing posts, including International Management Group (IMG) in Toronto, where, as Senior Vice President, he managed over 10 years, both their media assets as well as IMG’s sponsorship/property portfolios for brands including Bell, Molson, RBC and Pepsi. He has also worked on multiple sponsorship programs, including Hockey Canada, CSA, Toronto Fashion Week, Wimbledon and Skins Golf.
He will be based out of our Toronto office, where he will work with agency clients across North America.
